Spending Accounts
Verizon Wireless offers two spending accounts: a Health
Care Spending Account and a Dependent Care
Spending Account. Spending accounts provide you reimbursement
for certain health care and dependent care expenses before Federal,
Social Security, and in most areas, state and local income taxes
are withheld.
Being reimbursed from your Health Care Spending Account is easy with the Your Spending Account™ MasterCard® debit card (YSA card).
If you choose not to participate in a Health Care or Dependent
Care Spending Account, you will not receive any waiver credits.
You may not enroll into a Spending Account until the following Annual
Employee Benefits Enrollment period in the fall, unless you experience a relevant qualified
status change during the plan year.
